Don L. Mathews, MFT, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the Founder/Director of Impulse Treatment Center, the largest outpatient treatment center for sexual compulsion/addiction in the United States. His professional background includes more than 35 years as a therapist specializing in addictions and anger management.
Don has lectured widely on sexual compulsivity, addictions and bad habits to hundreds of therapists, probation departments, and public organizations, and has appeared as an expert on radio and television.
The treatment program he has developed at Impulse Treatment Center currently includes 15 groups of sexually compulsive clients and their families. He is a member of CAMFT (California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists) and East Bay CAMFT.
