John Kravitz is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Holistic Counseling and advanced training in transpersonal psychology, hypnotherapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. He works with individuals and couples recovering from sexual behavior issues, healing from infidelity, and navigating anxiety, depression, and other relational challenges. John also facilitates partner disclosures and leads group therapy, bringing a grounded, compassionate, and non-judgmental presence to each client.
A native Californian, John has lived throughout the state and deeply values the joys and challenges of sustaining a long-term marriage. He takes pride in his three adult children and finds balance through meditation, time in nature, and enjoying the arts—from rock concerts to opera to Bay Area museums. Walking his goldendoodle, Annie, especially on Mt. Diablo or at the beach, is one of his favorite ways to recharge.
John is a Certified Hypnotherapist, a Reiki Master, and a longtime member of SASH, ASCH, and CAMFT, where he served two terms as East Bay chapter president. He maintains a private practice in Walnut Creek, CA, where he supports individuals and couples seeking resilience, clarity, and healing.
